Jack Wilshere has claimed that West Ham's Declan Rice is a ‘freak’ from a physical standpoint.
Wilshere played alongside Rice as a Hammer and he has seen his rise up, close and personal.
Speaking to
talkSPORT, the former Arsenal legend admitted that the 22-year-old is only getting ‘better’ and he is a player that can ‘do anything’.
“He has got better every year,” said Wilshere.
“He had a really good Euros, like he was one of England’s best players and he has taken that into this season.
The 29-year-old has said that 'he's good with both feet'.
“Technically, he is so good. When he gets into them positions, whether it’s his left foot or right foot, he’s got the opportunity to score because he can use both feet just as good.
“And he’s so fit. There’s not a problem with him getting into the box and then recovering into that defensive position because he’s a freak physically, he can do anything.”
