BBC named Henrikh Mkhitaryan Man of the Match in 0-0 draw against Sporting Lisbon

Arsenal had a 0-0 draw in Europa League match against Sporting Lisbon. A victory for Qarabag against Vorskla Poltava meant this 0-0 draw was enough to secure the Gunners' progress from Group E. However, the main talking point was Danny Welbeck’s injury which seems to be a serious one. In his press conference (via BBC) Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has commented on the extent of Welbeck’s injury and then spoke about positive points of the evening. "He is at the hospital. The news is that we are going to wait, but we think it's a serious injury," said Arsenal boss Unai Emery. "Every injury is different. This could be a break of something in the ankle. "It's clear that we're with him in these minutes. He's a very good person and his commitment with us is very big. On the positive side of the match Emery has outlined the players who take the responsibility of the match. "Every match we want the best performance from every player. Some players need to take responsibility and confidence, and there were a lot of positives tonight. "The point isn't enough for us, but at the moment we are on target to be first in the group. "Sporting are a very big, competitive team and organised. We needed to be calm. "It was difficult to create big chances but it wasn't enough to win." Arsenal return to Premier League action on Sunday when they entertain Wolves. The Gunners’ next Europa League match will be played on 29 November, away at Vorskla Poltava.
