Helping police catch the thief: It was a busy day for Victor Lindelof

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelef had a quite busy day while resting with his family in his homeland Vasteras.  According to what has been reported by Goal, the Sweden international helped police catch a thief, who stole a bag from a woman in her 90s.  A man in his 30s tried to steal a bag from a woman in Vasteras. Lindelef, a witness of the incident, managed to catch the thief and didn’t let him run away.  The police report says: “The police want to take the opportunity and thank the witness for a quick and wise intervention to restore the plaintiff's property.” While one Man United defender is helping the police, the other center back, Harry Maguire, has been arrested on the Greek island of Mykonos for allegedly attacking police after a fight outside a bar. The 27-year-old was spotted by police having an altercation with other British tourists last night, according to local media. Footage posted on a Greek website shows Maguire earlier that night chatting with fans in the Matogianni area of Mykonos town. Manchester United said in a statement: “The club is aware of an alleged incident involving Harry Maguire in Mykonos last night. Contact has been made with Harry, and he is fully cooperating with the Greek authorities. At this time we will be making no further comment.”
