Hearn says Wilder doesn’t deserve 50/50 for Joshua fight
DAZN promoter Eddie Hearn says Deontay Wilder doesn’t deserve 50/50 financial distribution for Anthony Joshua fight.
"He doesn’t deserve 50/50. It’s up to AJ, because he may never get the fight. ‘It doesn’t sound to me like a guy who really wants to fight. Maybe he’s saying that because he knows he won’t get it." Hearn told iFL TV (via Boxingscene).
Wilder will face Breazeale, while Joshua will meet with Big Baby Jarrell Miller at Madison Square Garden on June 1.
Hearn has earlier told that Joshua could face Oleksandr Usyk, in case they fail to reach agreement with Wilder, who has recently rejected to sign contract with DAZN.
“With Usyk it could be again an amazing fight” Hearn has concluded.
