"He will play": Jose Mourinho says he's recalling Tottenham man to start tonight

Jose Mourinho has revealed that Davinson Sanchez "will play" against LASK in the Europa League this evening. The 24-year-old was out of action last weekend, with the club boss picking new signing Joe Rodon ahead of him amid Toby Alderweireld’s injury. Rodon is not ineligible for the Europa League match, and Mourinho has confirmed Sanchez will play tonight, while Alderweireld will miss out, despite his return to training. “Yeah he has a chance [for the weekend]. Not for tomorrow,” Spurs boss said of Alderweireld. “Joe played against Chelsea and it wasn’t an easy first match to play. “Davinson will play tomorrow. We have our options if he cannot play and we will not cry if he can’t like against Chelsea.”
