"He was yelling": Robin van Persie noticed Liverpool star kept shouting at his teammates last night

Robin van Persie has shared his praise on Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson's leadership skills, following yesterday's Champions League clash against Ajax. Reds have celebrated a 1 - 0 win due to Nicolás Tagliafico's own goal, while Henderson was brought on at half-time for Curtis Jones to protect their victory over the rivals. Van Persie has revealed he was impressed by the way the midfielder guided his team to the win. "You could see Liverpool were searching in the first half, but when Henderson came on you could see his leadership," he said. “He was yelling to his teammates to go out on every single duel, he was really good on the ball, confident. He was like a proper, mature player, a real captain, so he made a big difference as well in the second half.” Liverpool will be in action for their next game against Sheffield United on Saturday.
