"He does look like..." - Journalist drops latest Eberechi Eze injury update ahead of Manchester City clash

Journalist has dropped latest update on Eberechi Eze's injury issues ahead of tomorrow's Manchester City clash. According to The Sun journalist Tom Barclay, Eze has not suffered any setbacks in his recovery from injury and is nearing his long-awaited return. The Crystal Palace star has been ruled out since suffering a serious Achilles injury during a training session in May. Eze quickly became a popular member of the squad after joining Palace in a £19.5million deal from Championship side Queens Park Rangers last year. Reports suggested that the winger could return to the pitch as soon as in last weekend's clash with Newcastle United, but that proved to be premature. However, it is believed that the 23-year-old will be back in action within a month. As per Barclay, he is still expected to return in the not-too-distant future after making a quicker than expected recovery from his injury.

"He does look like he's progressing well in training and I'm sure Palace fans will be desperate to see him back." said the journalist.
