Peter Crouch feels Tottenham Hotspur have as good a chance of winning the Premier League title as Liverpool and Manchester City, suggesting that the latter two clubs are playing below standard. Tottenham have impressed during the early stages of the season, sitting in fifth after six Premier League matches and just two off the top. Five wins from five Europa League games and a penalty-shootout win over Chelsea to enter the last eight of the Carabao Cup have all contributed to an excellent start under Jose Mourinho. While Crouch believes Liverpool and Manchester City are favourites, he believes Spurs have as good a chance as anyone. “It is a crazy league and it feels like anyone can beat anyone at the moment,” Crouch said. “I would say City and Liverpool aren’t as strong as they were and other teams have got stronger. Can Tottenham win it? I’m not sure but I think they’ve got as good a chance as anyone. City and Liverpool have to be the favourites just because they’ve been the strongest teams over the last three years.”
