KAA Gent sporting director Michel Louwagie has told
RTBF that the club will want “more” than £13 million for Roman Yaremchuk amid Arsenal links.
The Ukraine international has been impressive at Euro 2020 and caught the eye of the Gunners for the summer transfer window.
As the transfer news emerges, Louwagie has opened up on the possible price tag, saying:
“€15 million? Even in covid times we hope for more.
“Everything will depend on the market this summer. And on the country where Yaremchuk will go.
“The player will be able to put himself in the shop window. The English market is obviously the most interesting.
“We have already had an agreement for several months with Roman to let him go in case of a good offer. After Euro 2020, we will work together for his transfer.
“If, for example, Ajax were to make him an offer, I don’t think he would be interested. Roman’s desire is to go to a high-level championship.”
