Harvey Elliott makes Liverpool first-team admission amid Blackburn Rovers loan spell

Harvey Elliott has talked about his gratitude to Blackburn Rovers for providing him with the opportunity to show his talent as the teenage star plots stepping into the Liverpool first-team next season. The 18-year-old has enjoyed an exceptional campaign, second on the Championship assists tally behind only Norwich City's Emi Buendia and with a further six goals to compliment a productive season. While speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Elliott said: "This season has shown me what real football is like. And what is needed to make that step up to be consistent in the games and to be consistently in the team. "Just the small things – for example, the nutrition – it could be that one per cent that will make you feel that one per cent better in a game, that could make you go longer or last the full 90 minutes. "I've learned so much and will keep learning so much from this season. "I can't thank Blackburn enough really for these opportunities, for making me into the person I am today and into the man I am." "Just to not rest and keep pushing forward and to get into the Liverpool team really," he added. "Obviously it's not going to be handed to me. I need to work hard for it, I need to gain the trust and show that I am able to do it now and I am talented enough to do it." Source- LancsLive Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
