Tottenham striker Harry Kane says every player at Spurs should give everything for the club and put aside their individual needs.
After 6 match-days Champions League finalists have only 8 points and already lost two games, while the start of the Champions League campaign was not the best at all, as Mauricio Pochettino's side failed to keep two goal advantage against Olympiacos in Athens.
Moreover, several players, including Christian Eriksen, have confrontations with the club over their future as they aren't considering contract extensions and want to leave North London side.
"Obviously in the transfer window just gone, there were players who maybe wanted to leave, and it was public knowledge that there were players close to leaving who stayed," Kane told Sky Sports.
"So it's never easy when you have a situation like that, but now that's closed, we all just want to move in the right direction."
"Whoever is on the pitch has to give everything for the club, that's all we can ask for. You have to kind of put your individual needs to one side and make sure you're performing to the highest level, because that will help your individual status anyway." he added.
Tottenham will face Southampton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
