Hakim Ziyech has revealed that the Chelsea squad have supported Romelu Lukaku whilst he's been under-fire for his recent bombshell interview.
The 28-year-old admitted he was 'not happy' with his current situation in west London, also talking up a move back to Inter Milan.
Lukaku later apologised and was fined by the club.
And his teammate Ziyech has insisted that the squad have supported their frontman and will continue to do so as they look to improve heading into the business half of the season.
Speaking to Viasport, via the
Metro, after Chelsea's 2-0 win over Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, Ziyech said:
“He had his interview and I think it’s better to leave it that way.
“We as players and team-mates have to support him after what happened. He is part of us.
“We have to keep pushing him and support him. Let’s keep it behind us and focus on what’s coming.”
