Guardiola tells City players what they need to do to make it a glorious season

Pep Guardiola has attempted to wake his players by reminding them there are still things to achieve this season. Manchester City have missed out on the Premier League title, but the Champions League and the FA Cup remain on the table. Guardiola was not one for dwelling on that success, however, with his attention turning to the future. “Every time we play it is important that maybe mathematically we need one point to be in the Champions League next season,” he said. “On the 13th we will know if we can play, but we won again on the pitch where we deserve to be, and this club was always there in the last six or seven years. “Of course, we spoke about this. We have four incredible weeks ahead of us that will never come back. We come back but in a different way.
