Guardiola has spoken out on suggestions Manchester City could be banned for Financial Fair Play irregularities

An independent investigation was opened by European football's governing body into the Premier League champions following allegations published in German magazine Der Spiegel and reports claim City could be banned from the competition if FFP rules have been flouted. (per ESPN) However, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has spoken with City chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak and CEO Ferran Soriano, and he does not think the club have anything to fear. "We will not be banned, no," he said. "That's what I think because of what my chairman and my CEO have explained to me and I trust in them. "If it happens, because UEFA decide that, we will accept it and move forward."
