Gremio set price to complete Everton Soares deal amid Arsenal links

Everton Soares has confirmed he has an offer and is set to depart from Gremio. The Brazilian is a target for Premier League clubs and it’s known that Arsenal have opened talks during the Copa America. UOL claim Gremio want a minimum of £36million for Everton. But reportedly Arsenal face competition from La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, who have said they are prepared to pay £30.5m for the Brazilian. The Copa America winner has broken silence on his future. He said: "Right now I have an offer on the plate, but I can’t say the name of the club in question. Just as I cannot promise that I will be here again on Thursday to play against Bahia. We’ll see." Everton has made 145 appearances for Gremio and has scored 38 goals for the club. The forward was also named Man of the Match for his display in the final, in which Brazil overcame Peru 3-1.
