Greece national team coach reveals how they're going to stop Mkhitaryan and which side is the most dangerous opponent for them in EURO 2020 qualifiers

Armenia and Greece National teams are going to play against each other in the fourth round of EURO 2020 qualifiers. Ahead of the game, Greece national team head coach Angelos Anastasiadis has faced the press. During the pre-match press conference, Vbetnews journalist asked Anastasiadis, how they are going to deal with Armenia National team and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The head coach admitted that Mkhitaryan is a significant player; however, his side will not man-mark the Armenia captain. “My mentality and philosophy are that we try to play against each team on the team level. Of course, we always focus on significant players, but I believe that the team only can get results if they have a team spirit. We are going to play against Armenia on the team level,” said the coach. Armenia, Greece, Italy, Finland, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Liechtenstein are in the same J group in the qualifiers. After three wins Italy are topping the group and the fight for the second place intensifying. When asked about which side is a more dangerous opponent for Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland or Armenia, Anastasiadis answered: “We try to deal with each opponent separately and each match is important to us. As I said before, everything will be decided in the last match.” The game will take place on June 11, at the Spyros Louis Athens Olympic Stadium, in Athens, Greece.
