"Great to see": Joe Cole says one Liverpool player is now "back to his best"

Joe Cole has opened up on Liverpool's Thiago Alcantara, claiming the midfielder has returned to his best form. Former Barcelona and Bayern Munich star was struggling to adapt to the new life in the Premier League, while injuries became another problem to prevent him from showing his best football after making a move to Anfield back in the summer of 2020. However, Cole believes that now Thiago is back and could be part of Jurgen Klopp's plans for winning another trophy. “It’s great to see Thiago back to his best like we saw him at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, and they have speed, they have aggression, they can mix it and they’re one of the best teams we’ve seen for the past 15 years," the pundit said when speaking on BT Sport’s coverage of the Champions League Round of 16 draw. "Jurgen Klopp will want to add to his trophy tally,” he added.
