Graeme Souness claims Chelsea will lose their best player two summers in a row

Chelsea winger Willian is the Blues' "best player", according to Graeme Souness. The Liverpool legend thinks the Brazilian should be given a three-year deal to stay at Stamford Bridge. Willian is set to leave Chelsea after seven years at the club when his contract expires. The winger wants a three-year deal but Chelsea are refusing to give that to a player who turns 32 next month. Chelsea lost Eden Hazard to Real Madrid last summer and Souness believes it would be the wrong decision to let Willian leave "I think he's their best player," Souness said on Sky Sports. "He wants a three-year [deal], they've offered two. I'd be giving it to him "You watch him play, he doesn't look like a player to me whose legs are going anytime soon and he's got great qualities. So I would be bending over backwards to keep him at the football club." Source: Express
