Glenn Hoddle CRITICISES Hugo Lloris for his performance against Red Bull

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Glenn Hoddle has criticised Hugo Lloris for his poor performance against RB Leipzig in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.  French international was not able to deny Marcel Sabitzer from two goals. Both shots from Sabitzer were not the best ones, and Lloris got his hand but was not strong enough to turn it away.  “You can’t be beaten at your near post. That is outside the six yard box. If you get beat, you get beat across your goal surely.” Hoddle told BT Sports (via Daily Mail) “We’re not digging him out, we’re just saying… actually we are digging him out because they’re two mistakes but at the end of the day at the top level, the Champions League, you get caught out if you’re in the wrong position. It’s as simple as that.”  Tottenham will face Manchester United this weekend.
