"It gives me more chance": Brandon Williams reveals what he was told ahead of Partizan clash

Manchester United left-back Brandon Williams has revealed what he was told by the club coaches ahead of their 1-0 win over Partizan. The youngster had his second senior start during the Europa League clash against Partizan Belgrade (1-0), showing his improvement as a defense player. Williams said the pre-match tactics helped him win the penalty for the Red Devils, which was perfectly performed by Antony Martial. Williams told MUTV: "I just remember before the game they told me to get at the full back and I just knew and so I took it down the line and waited for the foul to come." During the game United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer formed the defense with the partnership of Phil Jones, Harry Maguire and Brandon Williams. "It gives me more chance to advance forward which I like doing but also get back and defend, which I like doing as well, so it's a good formation for me," the 19-year-old added.
