Giovanni Van Bronckhorst sends a message after being appointed as Rangers manager

  Giovanni Van Bronckhorst has taken to social media to send a message following his appointment as Rangers manager. The Gers said goodbye to Steven Gerrard a week ago after he was appointed as Aston Villa coach. Van Bronckhorst has been a Rangers player from 1998 to 2001. Before being appointed as Gers manager he has managed Feyenoord and Guangzhou R&F. As a manager, he has won Eredivisie, KNVB Cup (2 times), and Johan Cruyff Shield (2 times). Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "I am very excited and proud to be returning to Rangers as the club’s new manager. I can’t wait to meet all of you!"
