Gini Wijnaldum offers update on Virgil van Dijk recovery after surgery

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has provided an update on team-mate Virgil van Dijk's recovery after surgery. Van Dijk suffered an ACL injury during the Reds 2-2 draw with Everton and underwent successful surgery. The Reds defender could be out for the rest of the season which is a huge blow for Jurgen Klopp's side. "Virgil will return with God's will," Wijnaldum told VI. “It is a difficult time for him; this is the worst thing you can experience as a football player. You go through hell. But I think he is very strong.
