This nonetheless requires another big step up, but he’s a versatile horse and will have no issues with this significant descent in trip.
Peter Coleman’s 10lb claim could also make a world of difference in a really tight race.
3.30 Doncaster – CANELO

Likely to be sent off favourite, but he still looks a tasty price in a weak renewal. Twice a winner this season, including a Grade 3 at Wetherby, and still has plenty to offer judged by his good fourth here in January.
Everything he has done thus far tends to suggest this step up to three and a quarter miles will eke out further progress in the hands of Tom Bellamy.
