Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville has stated that he doubts Arsenal and Chelsea will hardly challenge for the Premier League title this season.
Both London clubs have enjoyed impressive starts to the 2018/19 campaign. The Blues are yet to be beaten in the league, while Arsenal won their ninth consecutive games in all competitions on Sunday by trashing Fulham 5-1.
But despite their wining start Neville doubts Arsenal and Chelsea could challenge for the title.
‘I don’t think Arsenal… I don’t think they’ll be challenging for the title,’ Neville told Sky Sports.
‘(Chelsea) have started the season well. But after eight games I still think it’s very early to think about Chelsea challenging (Man City or Liverpool).’
