Gary Neville names the best attacking TRIO in the history of the Premier League

Gary Neville believes Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Wayne Rooney had formed the best attacking trio in the history of the Premier League.  The trio was formed after Tevez’ arrival in 2007. Manchester United had their best season in history, winning the Premier League and the Champions League.  Next season, they defended the domestic title and reached the Champions League final, where they lost to Barcelona.  Afterwards, Tevez joined Manchester City, Ronaldo left the club for Real Madrid. “Let’s be clear here. Tevez for a year with Ronaldo and Rooney was just breathtaking,” Neville told Sky Sports. “It was out of the world, it really was. Not just because of the actual qualities of the players. But there was a real selfish, horrible, nasty determination to those three.  “Ronaldo in a different way on the pitch, in the sense that he would go around kicking people, hassling people, harassing people, hustling. He was immense in terms of his performance level.  “But Rooney and Tevez, they were street fighters, but with unbelievable ability. There was something of that three that to me feels like, you talk about the best three in the Premier League, best front three or best three players. You’ll never beat those three for me.” he added.
