Gary Neville has named Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane as his dream signing for Manchester United this summer, while he also wants the club to improve their attack.
The Red Devils are currently sitting in 2nd place in the Premier League table. Meanwhile, they are still in race for the Europa League title this term.
However, Neville thinks his former side should make vital investments in order to improve the squad for the next season.
In a Q&A on Twitter on Friday, he was asked to name his three priority signings for United this summer and replied:
"Centre-back, striker, right winger." He named Varane as a player he would like to see playing at Old Trafford.
Neville also criticised United’s "slow" build-up and added:
"Sometimes they pass it too slowly across the pitch and don’t play forward.
"Last night was a perfect case and then as soon as Lindelof plays a forward pass / Rashford run we score. Play higher tempo and into strikers in the first part of games."
