Gary Neville explains why Manchester United must improve on their Chelsea performance

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has warned his former side must improve on their opening day performance against Chelsea-despite a 4-0 win. Neville will realise the performance needs to be put into context and recognise where there is room for improvement. "There's far bigger tests to come," Neville warned on Sky Sports after the game. "I think when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his coaching staff review that performance in its entirety, which they will do in the next 24 hours, they'll realise there's a lot of improvement to do, a lot of things they'd like to change. "Particularly in that first half, there was so much space out there and Chelsea had three or four good chances. I think structurally, the first half they didn't look right. They looked a lot better in the second half when they were a lot more compact. "It seemed to me in the first half, it felt like 'we'll let Azipillicueta go forward because he's not that good on the ball and Rashford will try and play on the counter attack and cheat a little bit'. Once they changed that in the second half and Rashford started going back and Chelsea couldn't find a way through, they then started to get the counter attack going. "I think there were things that weren't perfect, but Maguire was a big plus, James scoring is a big plus, Wan-Bissaka having his first game at Old Trafford. In context, there is still a long way to go and he will not be getting too excited, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, even though it was a good day for Manchester United ."
