Gary Neville explains why Emery wants to sell Ozil and Ramsey

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville says Unai Emery needs some time to change things at Arsenal.

Emery has replaced Arsene Wenger last summer. Despite the 22 match unbeaten run in all competitions back in autumn, Arsenal still are playing unstable and are currently 5th in the EPL table.

Aaron Ramsey will soon join Juventus, while Mesut Ozil is yet to prove his class under his coach. Emery wants new players and he wants money for those players. He could sell Ozil, as German international doesn’t fit with his formation.

Neville told Daily Mail“Emery needs four or five transfer windows to get things right.

“It does not surprise me that Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey are on the way out.

“Emery wants players that can transform the club so he has to be able to ship players out, to be able to correct things. It is like a cultural shift, a big mentality shift. But he needs to do that and needs time.” he added.

Arsenal will face Manchester United at Emirates later today.
