Gary Lineker has defended Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool's unsuccessful run in the Premier League. The Reds have lost their last three league games. That is somewhat understandable considering the number of key injuries in the squad, most notably to the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez. Some rumours suggested, that Klopp could leave the club. But club sources insisted there is no truth to them. Lineker's viewpoint always gets people talking and he had this to say about Klopp on social media, tweeting: "A question to the small minority of @LFC fans calling for Klopp to be removed: have you completely lost your minds?" Klopp helped the Reds to win Champions League and Premier League trophies and fans have been wishing him well over the last 24 hours. He said: "I don't think we can close the gap. We are not worrying about the title, we are not silly."
