Gary Lineker sends "best player" message to Raheem Sterling after England beat Germany in EURO 2020 last 16

  England qualified for EURO 2020 quarter-finals after knocking out Germany in the round of 16. The Three Lions celebrated a 2-0 victory as Raheem Sterling opened the score at the 75th minute, while Harry Kane doubled their lead at the 86th minute. Now, Gareth Southgate's side will face Ukraine in the quarter-finals on Saturday, July 3. Following the game, Sterling, who scored three goals in four games, received praise from Gary Lineker. Lineker took to Twitter and wrote: "Another goal for @sterling7. He’s been @England’s best player by far."
