Gary Lineker reveals what could be the key for Tottenham's success against Ajax

Former Tottenham striker Gary Lineker has spoken out on his emotions after Champions League quarterfinals second leg between Spurs and Manchester City at Etihad Stadium and revealed his expectation from the upcoming semi-final first leg of Mauricio Pochettino's side against Ajax Amsterdam. "Well, it's exciting. The night at The Etihad was just something else. I've never seen a game quite like that. I mean the topsy-turvy nature of the first 20 minutes and then that dramatic finale where you thought it had all gone but then it was all back." he told Spurs TV. "And then you were through and then everyone was jumping around in the dressing room. It was great to be there. Obviously, I was slightly biased in that one but that's fine." he added. Tottenham will be without Harry Kane and Son Hung-Min for the first leg, but Lineker believes that if the team keeps clean sheet and beat Ajax just like they did with Man City in the first leg at new stadium, the chances to reach the final will increase. "Spurs are strong and they've got this little lift that the new stadium seem to have given them. They've got this amazing ground to play at, you know, lots of great players and obviously a top manager, a brilliant manager. "Now it's Ajax in semi-final. It's a great opportunity. I think they're a good side, they've got some brilliant kids there's no question about that. "Overall I see it to be fairly even. If Spurs can win and keep a clean sheet I fancy them massively. Just like they did it against City. I think that could be the key." Lineker concluded. https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/status/1123152607395090432 Tottenham - Ajax, Kick-off time, 20:00 (UK Time), 21:00 (CET).
