Former Barcelona and England national team striker has been slammed by Liverpool fans after he celebrated Argentine’s goal alongside with former Manchester United man Rio Ferdinand.
Lineker has broken silence after the criticism and he has refused to step back or apologise, mentioning the fact, that he had some support for his former team (Barcelona).
“Seem to have upset a few @LFC fans by celebrating greatness last night. Admittedly it was a bit cringe, but as a former player who loves @FCBarcelona I make no apologies for dancing to the diminutive Dios.” Lineker wrote on twitter.
