Manchester City could win the Premier League title if they beat Liverpool at Anfield, said the club's former midfielder, Gareth Barry. Both teams have midweek games against opponents in the bottom five – with City away to Burnley on Wednesday night and Liverpool hosting Brighton. City are currently three points clear at the top with a game in hand. Barry can’t see beyond Liverpool as City’s biggest rivals. "Three points for Man City at the weekend will pretty much see them run away with it," said Barry. "Obviously they’ve got Burnley on Wednesday, but if they put Liverpool away it’s possible they won’t see anyone else until next season because that’s the form they’re in. "I think they’re favourites at the minute, and the game at the weekend will be huge in how the title race is going to finish. The pressure will obviously be on Liverpool to not lose the game, and a draw won’t be the end of the world for them. "But City going to Anfield, as I’ve experienced there as well, is one of the toughest places to go. There are different circumstances without the fans, but it has still mentally been a bit of a block for Man City teams."
