Gareth Bale's transfer fee revealed amid Tottenham interest

Real Madrid are currently ready to let Gareth Bale leave the Bernabeu for a fraction of the fee that was paid to sign him, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Welshman left Tottenham for a world record fee of around 100 million euros in 2013. After winning every trophy with Los Blancos, he is no longer considered an important member of the team by current manager, Zinedine Zidane. The recent report from Spain claims that Madrid now know that they cannot get close to the amount that they paid to sign him and they are prepared to allow him to leave them for 25 million euros this summer. Spurs have been linked with a move for Bale and Harry Redknapp even urged them to sign him because he will make them a top team again, but it remains unclear if Bale will lower his current wages of around £18.2 million per season (Wales Online).
