Gabriel Martinelli has already revealed his favourite position at Arsenal amid change talks. Besides playing at the left-wing, the 20-year-old is also capable of playing down the middle. It has prompted talk from former striker Alan Smith that he's ready to emulate another Gunners legend in Thierry Henry who was converted from a left-winger into a centre-forward under Arsene Wenger. But Martinelli has already revealed his preference to operate from a wider position.

"I really like playing on the left end," he told Marca in February 2020. "It is my favourite position. I give myself to the maximum for the team.   "I always give 100% for my team to end the game winning."
