Gabriel Martinelli explains his absence from Arsenal training with Instagram post

Gabriel Martinelli has been absent from Arsenal training on Friday during the international break. The likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are currently on their international duty, while others are at the Emirates and hold training sessions as usual. Martinelli hasn't been selected by Brazil for their triple-header against Venezuela - a game they won 3-1 - Colombia and Uruguay, however, he missed Friday's training session. In a video released on the Arsenal YouTube channel featuring 360 cameras and drone technology, there was no sign of the Brazilian. Martinelli has taken to his Instagram Stories to post a photo of him in the pool in Lisbon, as it is understood he's been given some rest time by head coach Mikel Arteta.
