Gabriel Magalhaes asks Portugal midfielder to join him at Arsenal

Gabriel Magalhaes has told Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches to join him at Arsenal. Sanches was one of Europe’s most sought-after young talents after winning the Golden Boy award in 2016 but a big-money move to Bayern Munich saw him endure a difficult spell in Germany where his performances dipped. The 22-year-old has also been linked with a move to Arsenal with Mikel Arteta looking to make major changes in midfield. And his former Lille teammate Magalhaes has now further fuelled the speculation by asking the midfielder to join him in north London – with Sanches waiting for an ‘invitation’.
