Former Premier League player Gabriel Agbonlahor says Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the best striker in the Premier League.
Since joining the Gunners back in 2018, Aubameyang has sparkled, scoring 72 goals and providing 15 assists in 111 games for the club. The 31-year-old has committed his future to Mikel Arteta’s side yesterday after weeks of negotiations with the club. The player himself revealed he wants to become an Arsenal legend.
And Agbonlahor believes Aubameyang is the closest player Arsenal have had to Thierry Henry since the French star left the club.
Speaking to the Talksport Sports Breakfast, he said: “For me, he’s the best striker in the Premier League, I really do believe that.
“He’s the closest they’ve had to Thierry Henry and he’s Arsenal’s biggest signing of the summer so far. It’s a massive signing for them.
“I really believe that with Aubameyang staying and with Willian and Gabriel being signed, that Arsenal will finish in the top four this season.”
