Paul Pogba has been urged to be more ‘cautious’ with his choice of words. Frank Leboeuf suggesting the club will not be happy with his recent comments.
The French midfielder has endured a testing start to the new season. His form when he has got on the pitch has been repeatedly questioned.
But the international break has offered some respite from the scrutiny of playing for United, with Pogba admitting over the weekend that the France national team setup feels more like ‘family’ than his club. But Leboeuf has questioned Pogba’s decision to make that statement and warned that he risks burning bridges with comments that could be misinterpreted.
“You have to be always cautious of what you say,” Leboeuf told ESPN when asked about the midfielder’s comments. “It’s true that this is not going to be very well interpreted with Manchester United. It’s meaning that he is belonging to a group with friends which is not the case with Manchester United.”
