Frank Lampard’s tactics: Two formations he can use at Chelsea

Chelsea and Frank Lampard are in Dublin were they face Bohemians FC on Wednesday before their tour of Ireland with a clash against St Patrick’s Athletic. In one of his first interviews, the 41-year-old made it clear that he wants to implement a fast and aggressive style of football at Stamford Bridge. Frank Lampard’s squad has been in Ireland since Friday. The squad is a mix of first-team stars and some youngsters, with several players being given extra time off following international games. The first team-stars are set to join up with the team this week. Among those who took part in Sunday’s training session included the likes of Michy Batshuayi, Kurt Zouma, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Kenedy. They are all back following loan spells last season. In addition, present in training were a number of promising youngsters on the clubs books including 17-year-old Ian Maatsen, Ethan Ampadu, Dujon Sterling, Billy Gilmour, Kasey Palmer and Conor Gallagher. Lampard could use two formations of the line-up at Stamford Bridge. Preferred formation: 4-1-4-1 2nd preferred formation: 4-2-3-1
