Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has spoken out on the Boxing Day clash with Arsenal on Saturday. The Blues celebrated a 3-0 victory over West Ham on Monday after having suffered two defeats in a row against Everton and Wolves in the Premier League.
Lampard's side are currently 5th in the league table, meanwhile, the Gunners, who have endured a difficult start to the season, are 15th.
"We’ll be preparing right and Christmas Day is pretty much off for everyone unfortunately this year," he said after the win over West Ham.
“It looks very different, it always does for the players.
“Arsenal is a tough game. People might talk and look at Arsenal and the position they’re in.
“For us, those tend to be the toughest of games sometimes so we have to get ourselves right for that, it’s really difficult.”
