Frank Lampard has stated that Chelsea’s priorities are to bring in an attacking player this month. The Blues suffered 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday. Chelsea have been linked with several attacking players this month, including Jadon Sancho, Timo Werner, Wilfried Zaha and Moussa Dembele. "In attacking areas, because we need to be more clinical,” he said. “I wouldn’t say ‘a goalscorer’ but we need to be more clinical in the box in terms of our front line.
