Frank Lampard praised one Chelsea youngster after Barcelona win

Frank Lampard has praised Chelsea youngster Mason Mount after his side’s pre-season win against Barcelona and stated that the 20-year-old can make an impact at first team level. Mount committed his future to Chelsea earlier this month by signing a new contract and has taken the opportunity to impress during pre-season. Lampard said: "Mason’s had a great trip and he’s announced himself into the first team squad." "We need to be fit and ready for Manchester United, and the clock runs down pretty quickly at this stage. "Now we just have to keep working. It’s been a good tour and it’s always good to come to Japan. Most importantly it is work and both games have been good exercises for us.
