Frank Lampard gives HUGE Injury update on N'Golo Kante and speaks about Wolves game

Chelsea are in need of a point against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their final Premier League game of the season to guarantee a top-four finish. The Blues lost 5-3 to Liverpool on Wednesday evening and have slipped to fourth in the table. Ahead of the game, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has faced the press. The boss ensured that the one point will change the motivation for the game. "We'll approach it to win. No other way to approach a game of football. They are a very good opponent, we've seen that all season. We're aware of the situation but we'll try to win." Asked if the clean shit is important, Lampard answered: "Never not crucial but impossible to keep one in every game. That always remains the same." The best news for Chelsea is that their star player N'Golo Kante is fit. "A possibility he'll feature. He trained for the first time towards a match pace this morning. It's a decision I'll have to make from talking to him and the medical team to decide if he can start." Asked what was his biggest game as Chelsea boss, Lampard said: "I suppose but Liverpool was and then after this Arsenal and Bayern Munich will be. The goal was top four but to also develop and improve the squad. A huge game, no doubt." About Wolves, he said: "An incredible job. They have gone on to bigger and better things, built up over time. The manager has a great sense of humility and work ethic. That's why it will be such a hard game. They've had a big workload. Credit to how they are managed. Have a lot of talent and an identity with a unique way of making it difficult. It's a great story, full respect for the year they've had." Asked to respond Jamie Carragher's comments about Kepa Arrizbalaga, Lampard replied: "Don't want to comment on other people's comments about players. That's their opinion. I have to work behind the scenes. My only thought now is how we approach two games domestically and then Bayern. That goes for every player, not just Kepa." Source: Football.london
