Frank Lampard confirms Edouard Mendy transfer is done with keeper having Chelsea medical

Frank Lampard has confirmed Edouard Mendy is having Chelsea medical ahead of his transfer from Rennes. The Blues have reached an agreement over the goalkeeper's transfer with a €25m fee. Last week the player was reported to say goodbye to his teammates and to be on his way to the Premier League side. And now, speaking about Mendy's transfer to Stamford Bridge, Lampard has confirmed their new signing is set to have medicals and will be a Blues player once the process is completed. He said: "Yes, Mendy is having a medical as we speak. Subject to that being okay then he will become our player."
