Frank Lampard agrees three-year contract to become Chelsea manager

Former Chelsea star and all-time leading goalscorer Frank Lampard will be confirmed as the Blues’ new boss in the next 48 hours. Club legend Lampard is Chelsea's all-time record goalscorer with 211 strikes, and won 11 major trophies during his time at the club including three Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2012. He will replace Maurizio Sarri in the role after the Italian walked out on the club after just one season in charge to join Juventus. Maurizio Sarri guided Chelsea to the Europa League title but he wasn’t a popular figure among the Blues’ fans so the club owner Roman Abramovich decided to appoint the 41-year-old legend. However, he is inexperienced as a coach and has a tough task.
