Four players who impatiently await the Premier League restart after disappointing campaigns so far

Premier League is finally set to return on June 17. Liverpool have dominated the league table as they are leading it with a 25 points gap over second-placed Manchester City. While it's almost certain, that Jurgen Klopp's side will end the season as Champions, the race for UEFA Champions League football continues. Before the suspension of the league, there have been players who suffered a disappointing campaign. They should have eagerly awaited the restart of the Premier League season to show their true value. David de Gea De Gea has seen his stock fall this season after a pack of uncharacteristic and unusual performances. He was recently dropped as number one for the Spanish national team. The Spaniard kept just eight clean sheets in 29 Premier League fixtures. Dean Henderson will and should be a worry for De Gea and he needs to impress again. Raheem Sterling Raheem Sterling's campaign hasn't been an outright disappointment, however, he is far below the high standards that he set for himself. The 2017/18 season he ended the campaign with 18 goals and 11 assists in 34 games. Last season, he scored 17 goals and 11 assists. This season so far, he has scored just 11 goals in the Premier League and has created an assist just once. Tanguy Ndombele Ndombele still needs to find his part in Jose Mourinho’s plans. The 23-year-old was hauled off at half-time in their last league game against Burnley after a shocking display. And failed to come off the bench at times under the head coach so far. Ndombélé only managed 12 starts in the EPL so far, with seven appearances off the bench. Kepa Arrizabalaga Chelsea player is the world's most expensive goalkeeper but after a successful debut season under Maurizio Sarri, he suffered disappointment under Frank Lampard. He has been dropped for five successive Premier League games and was replaced by veteran Argentine Willy Caballero. As per statistics accurate until February, Arrizabalaga had the worst save success rate in the EPL (55%). He also ranks in triple digits for the same out of 132 goalkeepers across Europe.
