Four players Manchester United should target in transfer market

Manchester United have several players who have likely secured a place at next summer's European Championship. But if they can conduct their transfer business quickly they may have made a few additions by the time. Here are four players United could sign before the Euros. Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho was targeted by the Reds during the summer transfer window. However, the clubs were unable to agree terms. Sancho has already earned 17 caps for England. If Sancho were to angle for a move back to England at the end of the season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may find himself with an exciting new talent before the player jets off to his first tournament with England. Declan Rice has long been linked with a move to Chelsea. The player started all 38 league games for West Ham last season. The 21-year-old, who is comfortable operating in a back three, could be a good option for United. Another highly-rated Dortmund player, Dan-Axel Zagadou has been linked with a United move recently. Zagadou is yet to feature this term after injuring his knee during pre-season. However, he could earn a long-awaited call-up to Didier Deschamps’ France squad. Dayot Upamecano's situations is a little different. His Leipzig contract includes a buy-out clause which comes into effect next year. A good tournament could see him become unattainable if members of the current European elite come in for him. Strong, quick and an exceptional passer, Upamecano ticks a lot of boxes for United but there is competition aplenty for his services.
