Four players depart Manchester City including Ryo Meshino

Manchester City have allowed four players to leave on loan. Japanese midfielder Ryo Meshino and Croatian Ante Palaversa, along with Yangel Herrera and Slobodan Tedic, have yet to make a first-team appearance for City, and have all previously spent time out on loan from the CFA. Meshino who joined from Gamba Osaka in 2019 before heading out on loan to Hearts, joins Portuguese outfit Rio Ave on a two-year loan spell. Rio Ave say they have an option to purchase Meshino, a Japanese under-23 international, at the end of the loan. Palaversa joined City from Hajduk Split in 2019 for £7m and he returned to the Croatian side on loan before spending last season at KV Oostende in Belgium. Herrera was strongly linked with joining Valencia as part of the deal that saw Ferran Torres join City. Finally, 20-year-old EDS striker Slobodan Tedic has joined PEC Zwolle for a season in the Netherlands. Academy midfielder Ivan Ilic, 19, is also widely reported in Italian media to be joining Hellas Verona on loan.
