Former United midfielder sends message to Fred and Andreas Pereira

Former Manchester United midfielder Kleberson believes the club players Fred and Andreas Pereira are developing their game under boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Fred has started the Red Devils' last five matches, four of which ended with wins. Many supporters hope the 26-year-old is starting to settle at Old Trafford. Recently Solksjaer called Fred "the catalyst" for his contribution in United's win over Brighton. Kleberson himself thinks both Fred an Pereira have improved their game. He told: “Fred has got a lot of expectation on him now, as he’s shown his quality. He’s started moving the ball well and shuts down space for the opposition in midfield. When he first started playing alongside Andreas Pereira they struggled, but now they’ve got used to the tempo of the Premier League, they are starting to show their qualities. He can continue to improve but everything can change in football, so he needs to stay confident and keep his position in the side. As his position will come down to the team getting the right results.” Kleberson believes United will continue to grow as much as they could qualify for the Champions League. “With the squad they’ve got, United can definitely finish in the top four. It is important for them to get into the Champions League. With Ole, he is looking to get the squad ready with the right depth to compete for the Champions League for next season, but it is still vital for them to try and get there in this campaign,” he added.
